The study mentioned in addition to genetic factors and stress, excessive alcohol consumption and smoking can be contributors of hair loss in women.
The study involved 84 female identical twins, which certainly are genetically similar. They were asked to fill out questionnaires about lifestyle, check blood pressure and analyze the condition of their hair through the photo analysis.
The result, the team found that the longer a person smokes, the greater the risk loss. History of skin conditions also contributed to the problem.
