According to a recent study, it was not just love to go when you decide to divorce. Slowly but surely your beautiful hair will fall out go go alias. If this continues to happen it is quite possible for long can cause baldness.
The study, conducted the research team led by Dr. Bahman Guyuron of the department of plastic surgery, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, UK, found that women who experienced divorce, whether dead or alive divorce, much more at risk of having thin hair than those who are married or single .
Bahman believes the relationship is due to marital status and level of stress affects women’s mindset.
“stress is an aspect of divorce issues that arise and lead to hair loss women,” said Bahman on HealthyDay News.
He added other stress conditions such as having children, can affect the amount of hair loss. However, the calm conditions are not the only way to prevent baldness in women. The study mentioned in addition to genetic factors and stress, excessive alcohol consumption and smoking can be contributors of hair loss in women.
The study involved 84 female identical twins, which certainly are genetically similar. They were asked to fill out questionnaires about lifestyle, check blood pressure and analyze the condition of their hair through the photo analysis.
The result, the team found that the longer a person smokes, the greater the risk loss. History of skin conditions also contributed to the problem.
“Women who consumed coffee, using the anti-sun cream and have a happy marriage, are less likely to experience loss,” he concluded.
